I have seen this young rider at a number of races. She is always in the hunt and has good skills for being so young. She has a deep passion for the sport and will continue raing and one day make the pro ranks. We finally had a chance to talk with her and this is what she had to say. DH and Freeride and some XC.

 Who do you usually ride with?

My Dad, grandpa, and little brother, sometimes the DH Reno guys and girls.

 What bike do you have now?

Custom Santa Cruz Heckler for DH soon to be a Santa Cruz V10, and a Santa Cruz Chameleon .

How long have you been racing?

2 years

 Are there a lot of good trails where you live that you like to ride?

Yes, DH, Freeride, and XC. Northstar at Tahoe is 20 Min. from my house. I’m a Northstar regular. Lucky for me Tahoe is my backyard.

 What are some of your better race results?

1st at Sea Otter Classic

1st at 2006 Norba Nationals (Cougar Mtn. Classic)

1st at Nevada State Championships

2nd  at 2006 NMBS Finals Snowmass , Colorado

What race courses do you like the most and why? (smooth, rocky, fast, turns, jumps etc.)

Smooth Fast courses that I can go through quickly. I love going fast through rocky sections.

Is racing or riding more fun for you?

Both, because I usually get to see everyone I ride with.

What other hobbies or sports do you like?

I love Drawing and playing Soccer.

How long have you played soccer?

5 years. 2 years at competitive Level for Reno Sparks United

Sweeper and Goalkeeper

Do you like school?

Most of the time, except for the homework.

Yes , I have been on the Honor Roll every year with Straight A’s

Tara Llanas ,Jamie Goldman and Steve Peat.

 How often do you ride your bike?

I try to ride my bike every day if I can.

 What do you want to be when you grow up?

Pro DH rider and a Doctor.
