DOWNHILL TRAILS VARY GREATLY |

Riding bikes downhill over varying terrain is what makes riding fun. Sometimes you have a good ride while other times you don’t. This comes down to many things, flow, feel, speed, confidence and clearing sections that you had never thought possible. That is what riding is all about having fun. Now obviously the level of riders varies greatly. Nothing is more humbling than getting absolutely smoked down the mountain or even worse not being able to ride most of the trail. The latter has happened to me a few times and I will never forget them, or the trails that stumped and scared the daylights out of me. People who ride these trails should be given their due respects. Even those that don’t ride them all that smooth and we all know that some trails are almost impossible to ride smooth no matter how good the rider is. Knowing when to call it quits is either a blessing or a hindrance. In my case it has been both. If you have had the same experience let us know and for your enjoyment we have included some pictures. Riding and pushing the envelope is what makes us faster and riding more enjoyable, having to hike your bike down the hill is something we may have all done or sometime in the near future will have to do. If it comes to this rest assured that there have been others in the same situation and probably on that same trail you now find yourself walking down.
