I hate Jeffsy!

Bike manufacturer YT causes quite some confusion. With the slogan #IHATEJEFFSY the company out of Forchheim is currently promoting their latest campaign. They have been pretty restrained on giving out any information about their coup. The hate-slogan in combination with some furious-looking ladies is definitely raising a lot of questions. One thing is certain though: On April 7, 2016 the big news will be revealed. The countdown until the date has started on www.JEFFSY.com.

“I really hate JEFFSY”. There could not be a more shattering judgment. On www.JEFFSY.com one can get ready for the launch of something huge. Usually, YT sends across nothing but chilled vibes with their Good Times attitude, however with JEFFSY they seem to unleash a rather unpopular object into the mountain bike world. During the video-interview, sweet Sidney explains why she hates JEFFSY’s guts. Since JEFFSY showed up, it has clearly been going downhill with her boyfriend because he rather spends his free time with JEFFSY than with her. Obviously, frustration is inevitable and she is definitely sick and tired of it. However, her boyfriend Trent can’t stop thinking about his new best buddy JEFFSY: All or nothing, exploring the unknown, overcoming obstacles, being on tour together and just having a good time – sounds quite like the best friend ever.

Those who wish to participate in the HATE-LOVE debate, can do so by using the hashtags #IHATEJEFFSY or #ILOVEJEFFSY on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. YT will elect the best post and a JEFFSY will be raffled as first prize.

On the 7th of April, YT will reveal the secret about the love-hate relationship about JEFFSY. Stay tuned! More information about JEFFSY can be found on www.JEFFSY.com.

Grip It and Whippet

Anyone lucky enough to interact with Kelly McGarry was instantly struck by his good natured personality and ability to make you feel like an old friend within minutes of meeting him. We at ODI were fortunate to have been able to work with Kelly over the past few years and were ecstatic when Kelly approached us about doing an edit with his beloved dog Tui. After his tragic passing we were torn on what to do with this footage. Upon consulting those closest to him we decided that it was best to release this edit both as a fitting tribute to a great person and as a reminder to enjoy the ride of life.

For those who have been inspired by Kelly or would like to help continue to support his passion for mountain biking, we would encourage you to visit and contribute to one of the following Trusts that were set-up in Kelly’s honor.

https://www.gofundme.com/KellyMcGarry

https://givealittle.co.nz/org/kellymc...

Funds collected will be used to fulfill his passion by “advocating for and building mountain bike trails in New Zealand and supporting emerging/promising/rising New Zealander mountain bikers in pursuit of achieving their goals domestically and abroad.”

Our hearts and thoughts go out to all those who knew Kelly. This is a tragic loss for the mountain bike community as for all those who knew and interacted with him. He will certainly be missed. RIP Mcgazza.

*Special Thanks to Paul Rayner for filming and editing this video and to Samantha for coordinating its release.

Adolf Silva - No Chill Switch | The CPGANG Show, Ep. 6

Adolf Silva has been on fire from start to finish this year. Taking his mountain bike riding to the next level, improving his skills, learning new tricks and pushing his own boundaries and what we thought possible our sport. His trick bag has continued to grow as he become more comfortable throwing tricks that only top pro riders could think of and more hungry than ever to compete with the best. It’s crazy to think that one year ago Adolf suffered a big injury which left him in a coma for a week! And now he is back more hungry than ever to show people what he can do. Don’t believe us, then look closely at the last clip, he is actually doing a no handed double backflip, a trick that only a couple people in the world can do. But now something that Adolf had in his bag of tricks at just 18 years old, the future is bright for this one. Make sure you keen an eye of Adolf next year as he has some big plans. Just saying, now might be a good time to book your Masters of Dirt tickets.
