Surviving A FORCE OF NATURE

When the bike park first opened for the season in May there were 151 days of riding and endless summer nights. Now there are only 15 days left before the Whistler Mountain Bike Park closes and summer is officially over. This video portrays the spirit of truly dedicated riders. Whether they are gunning it down gnarly lines or easing their way around berms for the first time, downhill fanatics don't let cooler temperatures and a little rain get in their way. They take advantage of precious laps while they still can, all with a smile on their face and dirt, well, everywhere.

Whistler Mountain Bike Park closes for the season on October 14, 2013.

Wie ihr bereits wisst, hat Paint The Town letzten Sonntag keine Kosten und Mühen gescheut. Dieses Mal durften wir den Downhill Mountainbiker Mauricio Baumann für einen Featureclip filmisch begleiten. Aber nicht nur wir, sondern auch unser Kollege Stefan Klinker wurde von Mauricio ordentlich auf Trab gehalten und stand uns sowohl fotografisch als auch mit seiner ganzen Körperkraft (wir sagen nur: mehrere Kameras und einen Kamerakran einen Berg hochzubekommen ist selbst für uns starke Burschen ein kleines Abenteuer) hilfsbereit zur Seite. Van Life 2 With Ryan Gardner

Ryan Gardner is a Kona Supergrass rider who travels around the United States in his van to race his mountain bike professionally. This video features Knapps Castle trail in the backcountry of Santa Barbara, California.

To make this video we used Magic Lantern software installed on Canon 5D iii cameras to shoot RAW video. This allowed us to gain more dynamic range and make each shot incredibility sharp. We also used a Red EPIC for the slow motion shots and a GoPro 3 for the octocopter and POV shots.
