2012 Val d'Isère Trek World Racing DH

By taking 5th place at Round 6 of the UCI World Cup, Aaron not only won his 2nd World Cup Overall title in as many years, but he also maintained his 100% record of World Cup podium results, 13 from 13 starts with Trek World Racing, and a record 14 in a row when the final round of 2010 is taken into account. Furthermore, the Trek Session race bike has scored an impressive 35 World Cup podiums since the start of 2009, more than any other bike model.

2012 Val d'Isere WC With Team Kona

After windham and the big month break, the boys head back over into France for a brand new world cup track, Val D'Isere. A lot like South Australian tracks, Connor felt at home straight away, Mitch was having some troubles though.

The team made the trip to Val D'Isere for the next round of the 2012 UCI Mountain Bike World Cup on board their new Nukeproof Pulse frames. Simmonds managed 14th place while some of the other riders were disappointed with their result. Check out the video here.

2012 Val d'Isere WC Qualifying By DirtTv

A new French track threw up some challenges for the top racers this weekend. Tracey Hannah suffered a broken femur and collarbone, Aaron Gwin went down ending up with 5 stitches in his hand and numerous other riders had mechanicals including Mick Hannah snapping his handlebars!

The dusty track was turned on its head and a rain stormed out of the alpine clouds. Upsetting qualifying times and placing some top racers down the start list the weather came good for racing on Sunday.

Here is all the action from qualifying with Cam Cole taking the top spot setting the Kiwi precedent for Sundays race.
